Funeral services were held
Friday, January 5, for Charles G.
Lamberth, 77, of 395 Magnolia
Ave., Beaumont. Mr. Lamberth
died at the San Augustine mem-
orial Hospital at 5:45pm Wed-
nesday, January 3. Services were
held at the Wyman Roberts Fune-
ral Home Chapel with Rev. Grady
Elliot officiating. Burial was in
McRae Cemetery.
Mr. Lamberth, a former resi-
dent of San Augustine, was born
in Clark County, Alabama, July
17, 1884, a son of William and
Jerusha Hanks Lamberth. He
was a member of the Baptist
Church
Surviving are his wife, Mrs.
Georgia Lamberth,; two daugh-
ters, Mrs. Ruth Davidson and Mrs.
Ruby Jones, both of San Augus-
tine; two sons, Claude Lamberth
of Narco, La. and Herbert E.
Lamberth of Tallahassee, Fla.;
four sisters, Docia Clecker, Carrie
Burkett and Fannie Gray. all of
Mississippi and Bama McIntyre
of Houston; one brother, Arch
Lamberth of Cleburne; also 16
grandchildren and 14 great
grandchildren.
Pallbearers were J. P. Mathews,
Lonnie Thornton, Curtis Frazier,
D. C. Hall, D. C. Cole and Leo
McDaniel.
